Job summary

Eidel is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex, high‑tech development projects in the space and defense sectors. You will take ownership from contract handover through delivery and customer acceptance, coordinating engineers, customers, partners and management to meet contractual, technical, financial and schedule requirements.

Roles involve long development cycles, strong autonomy, and empowerment through trust.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
Minimum of three years of experience in project management, preferably in technical/engineering environments.
Experience with space, defense or other high‑tech industries is an advantage.
Experience working with customers, contracts and multidisciplinary technical teams is an advantage.
Proficiency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Take overall responsibility for assigned projects from contract handover through development, delivery and customer acceptance.
Lead and support multidisciplinary project teams.
Develop, maintain and follow up project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables.
Ensure projects are executed in accordance with contractual requirements and internal processes.
Manage project scope and initiate and prepare change requests when required.
Identify, assess and follow up project risks and opportunities in line with Eidel's quality system.
Maintain close communication with customers and ensure clear and professional project follow‑up.
Coordinate and collaborate with external partners and suppliers.
Monitor project budget, progress and milestones; report status to management.
Prepare internal and external project documentation and status reports.
