KONGSBERG is seeking an Operational Systems Designer for its Discovery division to design and integrate USV systems and human-centered interfaces. You will work across users, engineers and product teams to ensure safe, intuitive autonomous operations and robust system performance.

You will contribute from concept through validation, collaborating in a multidisciplinary environment and aligning human factors with technical possibilities while navigating safety and usability requirements.

Qualificações

• Degree in Industrial Design, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Human Factors Engineering or related field.
• Relevant maritime domain experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 11064 and ISO 9241-210.
• Ability to lead and collaborate in complex development environments.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement and maintain USV solutions for controlling and coordinating autonomous vehicles and vessels focusing on safety-critical and functional design.
• Take a holistic design perspective on how solutions, technologies and operational needs form the complete USV system.
• Collaborate across disciplines with users, developers and stakeholders to translate needs into effective solutions.
• Follow projects from concept to market-ready products, contributing to user studies, design, development, validation and testing.
• Turn user and operational needs into design solutions using HTA and HFI, including design validation.
• Design and test interfaces for human supervisors to support situation awareness and safe intervention.
