Job summary

IKM Gruppen AS seeks a seasoned automation engineer to lead technical deliveries within the automation discipline for designated projects in the Oil & Gas sector. You will ensure supplier requirements are understood and correctly implemented in design, and provide input to and quality-assure project plans.

Based in Norway, you will communicate in English and a Scandinavian language, work full-time, and support risk, HSE, procurement, and change processes through the design phase, with EX/Exi

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation Technology or related field.
Experience with technical requirements and international standards.
Expertise within Oil & Gas discipline (EX/Exi).
Strong English and Scandinavian language communication.

Responsibilities

Assume responsibility for technical deliveries within the automation discipline and assigned project tasks.
Ensure that company requirements are understood by suppliers and correctly implemented in the design.
Provide input to and perform quality assurance on project plans.
Process and provide recommendations on change proposals.
Contribute to procurement processes and tender evaluations.
Assist in the establishment of assignment agreements.
Manage risk and HSE aspects throughout the design phase.
