Qualifications

PhD in cybernetics, control engineering, mechatronics or related field.
Educational/pedagogical qualifications per current requirements.
Proficiency in Norwegian/Scandinavian language; CEFR B2 level or equivalent.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Personal suitability with collaboration, independence, teaching quality, and willingness to develop the academic environment.

Responsibilities

Research and academic development in the field; supervise PhD candidates.
Develop, coordinate and teach courses at bachelor’s and master’s levels, including labs and digital resources.
Work on projects and applications for external funding.
Collaborate with research communities, public sector and industry.
Promote study programmes and recruit students; communicate research to the wider public.
