Job summary

Urban Outfitters, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager to drive performance across a large fashion retail team in a high-volume environment. You will oversee daily operations, develop department managers, and uphold the company’s customer service standards and store presentation.

You will lead by example, coach staff on loss prevention, merchandising, and store efficiencies, and work to achieve sales and profitability targets while maintaining a positive store culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in a management role in a fast-paced, high-volume fashion retail environment.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams and promote a service-oriented culture.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to drive store performance.
• Ability to implement training and development plans for staff and managers.
• Understanding of loss prevention and health & safety in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a large team and recruit, train and develop managers to increase daily productivity.
• Assist with succession planning and performance development for staff.
• Model the store culture and lead by example in customer service and operations.
• Coordinate daily and department meetings and roll out new training initiatives.
• Coach managers to maintain strong customer service standards and store presentation.
• Guide stock control, loss prevention, and merchandising execution to hit targets.
• Collaborate with leadership to drive sales, profitability and engagement.
