SteelAxis in Svalbard seeks an Architecture Manager to oversee architectural projects from design to construction. Lead multi-disciplinary teams, ensure on-time delivery within budget, and uphold quality across all phases. Requires strong leadership, client communication, and hands-on site oversight.

This is a full-time position with accommodation provided. Salary is negotiable based on experience, and we welcome candidates with relevant architecture-management experience.

Qualifications

We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Architecture Manager to join our team in the beautiful city of Svalbard. As an Architecture Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of architectural projects from initial design to final construction. Your main goal will be to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and meet all quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to understand project goals and requirements
• Develop and present project proposals including cost estimates and timelines
• Manage project teams including architects, engineers, contractors and subcontractors
• Oversee project progress ensuring that deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure construction is following design plans and specifications
• Monitor project budget and make necessary adjustments to stay within financial goals
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process
• Communicate with clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or changes in scope

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Architecture or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience as an Architectural Manager
• Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes and construction methods
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders

Salary: 1700$ per month negotiable based on experience.
