  • Good understanding of the full Android development lifecycle, including application architecture design (MVVM).
  • Knowledge of coroutines and Dagger.
  • Passionate about details and great user experiences.
  • Ability to dive into an existing, complex app, and learn quickly.
  • Experience with, or eagerness to learn about, payment and shipping technology.

Tech at Tise

We're currently 19 engineers, split across backend, web, iOS, data, and Android. At Tise we rarely work on the same thing for long, but we always have one underlaying goal in everything we do – using technology to create fun and inspiring features that allow our users to live more sustainably.

Tise engineers work in small, cross-functional teams, solving fun and complex problems. From pixels to database queries, we take pride in owning the tech we use to serve hundreds of thousands of users each month.

The Product & Technology team is mainly situated in Oslo, but we also have several great remote developers. You will also work closely with the rest of your colleagues in Tise (see instagram.com/tiseteam to get a look at the Tise family).

Android developer – Payment & Logistics

You'll be part of our cross-functional Payment & Logisticsteam,working with a team ofdevelopers, a designer, Product Manager, and Engineering Manager. The team is responsible for everything that happens after a user has decided to buy an item, including charging and paying outmoney, integrating with shipping partners, and anything else that make shopping at Tise a great experience.

You'll also work closely with our two other Android engineers, including our Tech Lead,who together form the Android chapter at Tise. At Tise we use Kotlin to develop our Android app, and release regularly using an automated CI/CD pipeline.
