Job summary

eBay's Tise team in Oslo is seeking a Senior Product Designer to own core parts of the marketplace, from discovery to retention, within cross-functional squads.

You will partner with Product, Design and Engineering to ship high-quality experiences, run user research, balance data with intuition, and help evolve the design system. This full-time, hybrid role requires English fluency; Norwegian is a plus.

About The Team And The Role

Tise is a second-hand marketplace that makes buying and selling pre-loved items easy, fun, and inspiring. Sustainability is central to everything we do, helping millions of users across the Nordics make more conscious choices every day. As part of eBay, we're growing fast. In Oslo, you'll join about 45 people across Product, Design, Engineering, and Data & Machine Learning. As a Senior Product Designer, you'll work in one of our cross-functional product teams and own design for a meaningful part of the marketplace. You'll shape key parts of the Tise experience, from discovering and listing items to what keeps people coming back. You'll also be part of a tight-knit product design chapter: we share and critique our work, challenge each other's thinking, and help one another keep the experience coherent across the product.

What you will accomplish

• Own the design of key parts of the Tise marketplace, shaping experiences used by millions of people buying and selling second hand.
• Partner closely with Product Management and Engineering to identify meaningful customer problems, explore solutions, and bring high-quality experiences into production.
• Plan and run user research, weigh it against what the numbers show and what you know from immersing yourself in the product and marketplace, and form hypotheses you can defend and test.
• Prototype, iterate, and carry insights through to production, working closely with Engineering to ensure good design gets shipped.
• Contribute to the product design chapter through critiques and shared problem-solving, and help evolve our design patterns and design system.

What you will bring

• 5+ years of experience in product design or similar roles working with digital products.
• Solid craft and taste. Interaction details and visual polish matter to you, and you know when a flow is actually finished.
• Experience turning ambiguous problems into clear direction: asking good questions, reasoning through the trade-offs, and staying open‑mind when challenged.
• Strong instincts for when to dive deep and when it's better to move fast and learn from what ships.
• Comfortable with data and experimentation, including running A/B tests, or a clear appetite to learn.
• Curious and excited about how AI can support and grow our craft, with a thoughtful take on how it fits into the work.
• A passion for building great consumer products, and for making second hand the easy choice.

This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid role. Our working language is English; written and spoken fluency is required, and Norwegian is a plus.
