Job summary

NORA.ai, hosted by the University of Oslo (UiO), seeks a temporary 1-year research coordinator to support NORA Research Schools and event coordination in Oslo. You will work with the CEO and the NORA secretariat, helping plan research school activities, conferences, and national/international events, including travel logistics and publication materials.

A bachelor’s degree and strong English and Norwegian communication skills are required; a PhD is an advantage, with opportunity for varied tasks

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to AI, digitalisation, or data-driven research; practical competence may replace the formal requirement.
• Experience with research administration and coordination.
• Experience organizing seminars, events, or conferences.
• Very good oral and written presentation in English.
• Good oral and written presentation in Norwegian.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing NORA's two Research Schools: NORA-tech and NORA-HS.
• Coordinate logistics for research school events and main conferences.
• Support publication of materials about the research schools and events online.
• Invite speakers and guide on presentation formats.
• Assist in preparation of grant proposals.
• Other tasks as assigned by the CEO and Secretariat.
