Job summary

NORA.ai, hosted at the University of Oslo (UiO), seeks a temporary 1-year Research Coordinator to support the NORA Research Schools, events, and coordination tasks. The role covers national and international activities and broad administrative duties to strengthen AI research in Norway.

You will work closely with the CEO and secretariat, planning events, preparing conference content, and supporting grant proposals. The position emphasizes collaboration, organization, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in AI, digitalisation, or data-driven research.
• Experience with research administration and coordination.
• Experience organizing seminars, events, or conferences.
• Very good oral and written English.
• Good oral and written Norwegian.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the organization of NORA's two Research Schools.
• Coordinate NORA events and conferences.
• Support national and international research coordination activities.
• Handle administrative tasks related to the secretariat.
• Some travel may be required.
