Job summary

Dell Technologies in Oslo is seeking a highly motivated HPC / AI Infrastructure / Configuration Service Delivery Engineer to support deployment, configuration, validation and operations of large-scale AI and HPC environments.

The role emphasizes service delivery, platform reliability, and continuous improvement across infrastructure services, with collaboration across engineering and deployment teams to enhance service quality.

Qualifications

Experience in service delivery and infrastructure operations.
Strong knowledge of configuration management, provisioning and deployment processes.
Experience supporting Linux and distributed computing environments.
Familiarity with AI infrastructure, HPC clusters, GPU-based systems, or large-scale compute environments.
Understanding of networking, storage and data center infrastructure fundamentals.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Fluent in English and one Nordic language (Norwegian, Swedish, Danish).

Responsibilities

Lead deployment, configuration, validation, and operational support for AI and HPC environments.
Ensure infrastructure consistency, compliance, and readiness across large deployments.
Drive incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and service restoration.
Maintain runbooks, standards, and configuration management processes.
Monitor cluster health, configuration status, capacity and service performance.
Collaborate with engineering, architecture, operations, and deployment teams to improve reliability.
Implement monitoring, logging, telemetry, and analytics capabilities.
Contribute to automation and continuous service improvement initiatives.
