Aker Solutions in Oslo is seeking an AI Discipline Lead to build and mature its AI engineering capability, lead a team of AI specialists, and establish enterprise-wide AI practices. Qualifications

Master's degree or higher in CS, software engineering, information technology or related field.
Strong experience in machine learning, data science or advanced analytics with AI development/operationalisation.
Experience leading, mentoring or developing technical specialists with ability to build high-performing teams.
Technical credibility to engage with AI engineers, architects and stakeholders to prioritise initiatives.
Experience establishing frameworks, governance principles or reusable AI capabilities.
Collaborative and commercially minded with ability to build relationships across technical and business communities.
Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Lead, develop and coach AI engineers and developers, creating a high-performing environment.
Build and mature AI discipline by establishing best practices, standards and communities of practice.
Drive an AI incubation capability by identifying opportunities and leading proofs-of-concept.
Partner with business units, Digital & AI Leads and stakeholders to translate challenges into scalable AI solutions.
Manage and allocate AI resources across enterprise-wide initiatives.
Promote development and reuse of AI assets, accelerators and implementation patterns.
Contribute to shaping the future AI capability through planning and cross-functional collaboration.
