Oslo University Hospital invites applications for a full-time, two-year Researcher position within SYNAPSE, a project funded by the Research Council of Norway. The successful candidate will lead research on learning-based, urgency-aware network control and network-aware distributed learning, collaborating with PhD fellows and master’s students.

We seek a PhD in computer networking or computer science with a strong networking focus, experience in ML for networking, and excellent English.

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated experience developing or applying machine-learning methods to networking problems.
• Experience with network simulation, emulation or testbeds.
• Very good written and spoken English.

Aufgaben

• Lead research on learning-based, urgency-aware network control and network-aware distributed learning.
• Evaluate methods through network simulation, emulation or testbeds and real monitoring data.
• Collaborate with the PhD fellow and master’s students and publish in leading venues.
• Contribute to project management and new research proposals.
