Job summary

Helse Sør-Øst RHF, in collaboration with Oslo University Hospital, seeks a PhD Research Fellow for a 3-year SYNAPSE project focused on AI-native networking for healthcare. The role involves developing ML methods for network control and distributed learning within medical ICT research.

The fellow will be enrolled in the University of Oslo PhD program and work within the Intervention Centre's Wireless Sensor Network group, under senior researchers, with strong emphasis on interdisciplinary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (120 ECTS) in computer science, networking, electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree (180 ECTS) with five years of higher education.
• Solid foundation in computer networking with unit projects/research in networking topics.
• Coursework or projects in machine learning and Python programming.
