Job summary

Vend is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join the Department of AI and help develop, experiment with, and build machine learning and AI systems that deliver new user experiences and business model innovation. You will collaborate with vertical teams across product, design, engineering, and business to turn data into intelligent products for our marketplaces.

Qualifications

• Strong fundamental knowledge of machine learning algorithms and AI.
• Practical experience in building models and creating scalable solutions.
• Familiarity with using LLMs in Data Science practice.
• Experience with modern AI tools.
• Flexibility to work remotely 3 days per week.
• Opportunity to work on NLP, Deep Learning, and Computer Vision projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in cross-functional teams with AI, design, product, and engineering to build AI-native products for marketplaces.
• Advance data science as an integral part of product development.
• Contribute to projects like Finn Søkelys and other AI-enabled user experiences.
• Support internal Data Science education through courses and workshops.
