Job summary

Isar Aerospace seeks an AIT Technician to join our Arctic island site at Andøya. You will support onsite assembly, integration, test, and launch activities within a small, local AIT team and collaborate with multinational teams in Germany.

Responsibilities include high-precision assembly, carbon fiber machining, testing, and ensuring cleanliness and documentation. Occasional travel to different locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or comparable training.
• Several years of professional experience in aviation/aerospace.
• Excellent teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Shaping the launch site by improving AIT infrastructure.
• High-precision assembly of space components.
• Machining carbon fiber composites.
• Component and assembly testing.
• Test and launch support for flight hardware.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Contribute to process improvement.
