Job summary

OSM Thome Limited seeks a 3rd Officer (3/O) to join our professional deck team on Oil/Chemical Tankers trading worldwide. You will support safe navigation, cargo operations, deck routines and maintain high safety standards.

Valid 3rd Officer (OOW) license with tanker endorsement and STCW certificates are required; seafarer medical fitness is mandatory. Prior tanker experience and a strong safety mindset with a willingness to learn are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Valid 3rd Officer (OOW) license with tanker endorsement (Oil/Chemical).
• Valid STCW certificates and seafarer medical fitness.
• Prior tanker experience preferred.
• Team player with a strong safety mindset and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with safe navigation, watchkeeping, and bridge duties
• Support cargo operations, including loading, discharging, and tank cleaning
• Carry out safety rounds, checks, and maintenance of deck and safety equipment
• Update charts, publications, and navigational equipment as assigned
• Follow company safety procedures and assist in drills and emergency duties
