Job summary

OSM Thome Limited is seeking a 4th/Junior Engineer for oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. You will join a professional engine team, keeping machinery running safely while gaining solid sea experience.

Responsibilities include assisting in operation and maintenance, carrying out checks, supporting bunkering, and following maintenance plans. Valid STCW licenses with tanker endorsement and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Valid 4th Engineer or equivalent STCW license with tanker endorsement.
• Previous sea service in engine department, preferably on tankers.
• Valid STCW certificates, medical and travel documents.
• Good English communication and ability to work in an international crew.
• Strong safety mindset and willingness to learn and grow within the engine team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operation and maintenance of main engine, auxiliaries and engine room equipment.
• Carry out routine checks, rounds and record-keeping in the engine room.
• Support bunkering, fuel transfers and other engine room operations.
• Follow planned maintenance and assist in repairs as instructed by senior engineers.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety standards in all machinery spaces.
