Job summary

Dixstone is seeking a Workshop Supervisor to oversee maintenance, repair and operation of all mechanical equipment on the Yard. This role ensures safe, efficient and reliable operation of engines, generators, pumps and hydraulic systems.

You will lead maintenance teams, maintain PMS, manage spares, and provide technical support for projects. Fluency in English and offshore/marine maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair mechanical failures, and ensure all equipment is in optimal working condition.
  • Maintain the Planned Maintenance Software (PMS) updated.
  • Place all necessary material requests and follow up.
  • Ensure continuous operation.
  • Diagnose complex mechanical problems and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime.
  • Manage the stock of spare parts, tools, and equipment, ensuring adequate supplies are available for maintenance and repair.
  • Maintain safety & security standards for machinery, equipment, and infrastructure.
  • Ensure that maintenance teams respect good HSE practices and clean their work areas at the end of each shift.
  • Exemplary use of mandatory PPE (Safety Shoes, Gloves, Coverall + Red Helmet).
  • Exemplary HSE behaviour and educational attitude towards all users of the site.
  • Ready to intervene in the event of an emergency.
  • Prepare maintenance reports, work orders, and other necessary documentation.

Workshop Supervisor

The Workshop Supervisor is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operation of all mechanical equipment on the Yard. This includes engines, generators, compressors, pumps, hydraulic systems, and other related machinery. The Workshop Supervisor ensures the Yard systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. The Supervisor also provides technical support for projects upon request.
