Job summary

Well Services Group is seeking a Workshop Mechanic in the Netherlands to inspect, maintain, repair, and overhaul mechanical equipment across our operations. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure equipment is safe, compliant, and operational, contributing to reliable field performance.

The role requires MBO-level education in Mechanical Engineering or similar, plus experience in mechanical maintenance and repair (industrial or oil & gas preferred).

Qualifications

• MBO-level education in Mechanical Engineering or similar is required.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair (industrial or oil & gas preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Execute both planned and corrective maintenance activities.
• Carry out equipment strip-downs, rebuilds, and mechanical testing.
• Identify defects and perform corrective actions to restore equipment.
• Support inspection and certification processes, including documentation.
• Report non-conformities, damage, or unsafe conditions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of workshop processes.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well‑organised working environment.
