Job summary

Odfjell Technology is seeking a Workshop Mechanic to join our Coevorden team. You will perform maintenance and inspections on our equipment, contribute to the storehouse and workshop management, and ensure safe operation of all tasks.

You will handle dispatching of equipment to rigs/bases and support proactive maintenance efforts. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork in a collaborative workshop culture.

Qualifications

• Foundation course in mechanical field (upper secondary level)
• 1–3 years experience in mechanical work
• Travelling crane and forklift certificates
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English
• Safety conscious and quality focused
• Proactive and solution driven
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, inspections and testing of our equipment
• Dispatching of equipment to rig/base
• Cleaning and maintenance at the storehouse and workshop
• Receive, control, marking and storage of equipment at the base
• Follow rules and procedures and report incidents, dangerous behaviour, and dangerous conditions
• Other tasks when needed
• Participate in workshop duty rotation when needed
