Job summary

Consortio RG Ltd in Rotterdam is seeking a Workshop Assistant & Delivery Driver to join a marine engineering business serving the global shipping industry. This role blends warehouse, workshop, driving and logistics duties with opportunities to travel across Europe and worldwide.

You will pick and prepare goods, pack equipment, load vehicles, and maintain delivery records while supporting the workshop team. A full clean driving licence and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, packing, delivery or workshop is desirable.
• Full, clean driving licence with confidence driving across Europe.
• Hands-on approach with strong attention to detail.
• Forklift licence/experience is advantageous; training can be provided.
• Carpentry or box-building experience is advantageous; training can be provided.
• Strong teamwork and time-management skills; willingness to travel internationally.
• Must be a Dutch citizen with full rights to work in the Netherlands; no sponsorship.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Assistant & Delivery Driver to join a growing marine engineering business specialising in the repair and servicing of marine exhaust gas turbochargers for the global shipping industry.

Based in Rotterdam, the role will combine warehouse, workshop, driving and logistics responsibilities, with opportunities to travel to the company's workshops across Europe and worldwide.

The Role

• Picking and preparing goods for shipment.
• Building packing boxes and securely packaging equipment.
• Loading vehicles and moving goods around the warehouse.
• Completing deliveries and intercompany transfers across Europe.
• Maintaining accurate shipping and delivery records.
• Carrying out general workshop, equipment and building maintenance.
• Operating box-making, laminating and warehouse equipment.
• Supporting the wider workshop team with ad hoc duties.

To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:

• Previous warehouse, packing, delivery or workshop experience is desirable.
• Full, clean driving licence and confidence driving throughout Europe.
• Practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail.
• Forklift licence/experience is advantageous, but training can be provided.
• Carpentry or box-building experience is advantageous, but training can be provided.
• Strong teamwork and time-management skills.Flexibility to travel internationally when required.
• You must be a Dutch citizen and have full rights to live and work in the Netherlands. Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
