Job summary

Huisman Etech Experts in the Netherlands is seeking a Maritime Work Preparer to translate final designs into complete work preparations, create and check drawings, and prepare full order and project descriptions for maritime projects.

You will plan projects, order materials, develop changes, and collaborate closely with project management. A proactive, forward-thinking mindset and the ability to prioritize are essential, as is good command of Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• MBO+ technical education (e.g., electrical engineering).
• Experience in a similar position.
• Proactive attitude and the ability to think ahead.
• Ability to switch quickly and set priorities.
• Good command of Dutch and English.

Do you want to ensure that the maritime project is guided correctly from the engineering phase to the execution phase? Do you want to work on material planning, orders, and collaborate extensively with other departments? And do you also enjoy providing technical support? Then you are the new Maritime Work Preparer we are looking for!

What will you do as a Maritime Work Preparer?

Your tasks include, among others:

• Developing final designs into complete work preparations;
• Creating, checking, and managing (work) drawings;
• Creating a complete order and project description;
• Planning and preparing maritime projects;
• Calculating and ordering necessary materials;
• Developing and processing additional work and changes;
• Close collaboration with project management and coordination;
• Providing information on orders, delivery times, and prices.

What do you bring?

• A completed technical MBO+ education (e.g., electrical engineering);
• Experience in a similar position;
• A proactive attitude and the ability to think ahead;
• The ability to switch quickly and set priorities;
• Good command of the Dutch and English language.
