Job summary

Rewire in Amsterdam is seeking a Junior Recruiter to take ownership of recruitment operations, coordinate applications, and help create an exceptional candidate experience. You’ll maintain our Recruitment Information Hub and collaborate with the team to improve processes.

Ideal candidates are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in HR, psychology, business, or economics, with strong communication, a service mindset, and fluency in English.

• Experience coordinating or supporting people-related activities.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of recruitment operations and scheduling.
• Coordinate applications, assessments, and communications with candidates.
• Maintain Recruitment Information Hub and People Portal content.
• Support employer branding and recruitment events.
• Contribute to process improvements and best practices.
• Collaborate across the recruitment team to cover full lifecycle.

Where you’ll make a difference

• Take ownership of recruitment operations, including application pre-screening, interview scheduling, assessment coordination, and recruitment administration

• Help create an exceptional candidate experience by supporting candidates and hiring teams throughout the recruitment process

• Own and maintain our Recruitment Information Hub and People Portal content, ensuring processes, guidelines, and resources remain accurate and up to date

• Support employer branding, recruitment events, and talent attraction initiatives

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes, templates, and best practices to enhance efficiency and consistency

• Collaborate closely with the recruitment team, gaining hands‑on experience across the full talent acquisition lifecycle

You’re a proactive, reliable, and organized team player who enjoys connecting with people and keeping recruitment processes running smoothly. You’ll thrive with us if you bring:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in progress (e.g., HR, Psychology, Business Administration or Economics) and eagerness to apply your academic knowledge in a hands‑on People & Talent environment

• Practical experience in coordination, process management, or supporting people‑related activities – demonstrating your ability to keep multiple tasks organized

• A hands‑on, service‑oriented mindset – you take ownership of your responsibilities, embrace challenges, and ensure a smooth, positive experience for candidates and the team

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit – you enjoy working with colleagues, supporting others, and fostering a positive, inclusive work environment

Where and how you’ll work

We're aiming for a minimum of 20 hours per week, ideally around 24 hours, giving you enough time to take ownership while balancing your studies.

While our Amsterdam office will be your primary workspace, occasional work from home is possible in alignment with your team, providing flexibility and supporting a healthy balance between work and study.
