Job summary

PVH is seeking a Product Development Manager, Women’s Footwear – Casual, in Amsterdam. You will independently lead end-to-end development of assigned footwear categories from concept through production, balancing design intent with fit, comfort, performance, cost, and timing.

You will influence internal and external partners to deliver product readiness and business outcomes, without formal people management.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of related experience in footwear product development and/or sourcing.
• Deep technical and commercial knowledge of women’s footwear.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; Italian, Portuguese or Mandarin a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development of assigned Women’s Footwear categories from design handover to production.
• Translate Design and Merchandising direction into development requirements and recommended materials/constructions.
• Establish and manage seasonal development plan and critical path with partners.
• Shape priorities and align decisions based on value, urgency, risk and capacity.
• Lead costing and value‑engineering discussions to meet cost and margin targets.
• Resolve complex technical and manufacturing issues with cross‑functional teams.
• Lead and influence cross‑functional development decisions to achieve readiness and viability.
• Contribute to process improvements in footwear development.
