Job description

For an international premium fashion brand, we are looking for a Product Manager Footwear who understands that quality is never an accident. It’s built into every material choice, every production step, and every detail leaving the atelier floor.

This is not a role where you sit in spreadsheets all day tracking KPIs from a distance. You’ll work directly with international ateliers, suppliers, and technical teams to improve production processes, solve real operational challenges, and help bring premium footwear collections to life.

From lead times and craftsmanship to new product development and supplier relationships — you’ll have direct influence on how products are made, delivered, and continuously improved.

What makes this role interesting?

You’ll work at the intersection of craftsmanship, production, and innovation within a premium fashion environment where quality genuinely matters.

The collections are produced across multiple international ateliers, meaning you’ll collaborate closely with production partners, technicians, and internal teams to ensure products meet high standards — both technically and aesthetically.

This role offers a combination of operational responsibility and strategic impact. One day you might be improving production flow with an atelier partner, the next you’re involved in onboarding a new supplier or optimizing the launch of a new footwear category.

If you enjoy being close to the product, solving complex production challenges, and working in an environment where details matter, this role offers a lot of ownership and visibility.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll oversee production performance across multiple ateliers and act as the main link between production, technical teams, and internal stakeholders.

Your focus is on:

  • Improving lead times and production flow;
  • Maintaining high product quality standards;
  • Solving operational bottlenecks before they become real problems;
  • Supporting ateliers in achieving consistent production performance.
Improving production without compromising craftsmanship

The challenge is not simply producing faster — it’s improving efficiency while maintaining premium quality.

You’ll work on:

  • Production planning and capacity management;
  • Stock flow and logistics processes;
  • Quality control and technical implementation;
  • Monitoring production costs and identifying improvement opportunities.
Product development & new initiatives

You’ll also play a role in launching new developments within production, including footwear-related projects and onboarding new atelier partners.

This means working closely with teams across Product Development, Buying, Logistics, and Customer Operations to ensure products move smoothly from concept to final delivery.

About you

You probably already have experience within premium fashion, footwear, or high‑end production environments and understand how demanding these processes can be.

You are someone who:

  • Enjoys being close to production and solving operational challenges;
  • Understands the balance between craftsmanship, quality, and commercial realities;
  • Can manage multiple stakeholders without losing oversight;
  • Feels comfortable working internationally with suppliers and ateliers;
  • Notices details others miss;
  • Likes improving processes, but without turning everything into bureaucracy.
What’s offered?
  • A key role within an international premium fashion environment;
  • Direct impact on product quality, production performance, and operational improvements;
  • Collaboration with international ateliers and suppliers;
  • A combination of strategic thinking and hands‑on production involvement;
  • International travel opportunities;
  • A highly collaborative environment with short communication lines and strong ownership.
