Job summary

NTT DATA in the Netherlands is seeking a Windows engineer, specialist or architect to support enterprise Windows Server environments and related infrastructure services. The role covers secure, stable platforms across physical, virtualised and cloud-connected environments.

You will monitor, administer, provision, patch and upgrade Windows Server environments, support Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and related services, and develop PowerShell automation to streamline administration.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows Server environments and related infrastructure services.
• Ability to perform server provisioning, configuration, patching and upgrades.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and authentication services.
• Familiarity with failover clustering, virtualization, cloud integration and security hardening.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and administer Windows Server environments.
• Resolve incidents involving operating systems and infrastructure services.
• Perform server provisioning, configuration, patching and upgrades.
• Support Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and related services.
• Troubleshoot performance, authentication, connectivity and storage issues.
• Support vulnerability remediation and OS hardening.
• Develop PowerShell automation for recurring tasks.
• Support clustering, backup, recovery and DR testing.
• Maintain configuration records, documentation and runbooks.
• Identify opportunities for standardisation and lifecycle improvement.
• Lead OS and directory-services investigations at L4 and define architecture roadmaps at L5.
