Job summary

Vestas seeks Service Technicians to join our Groningen-based field operations team. You will perform daily maintenance and field service tasks, handling electrical and mechanical operations on wind turbines and installations.

The role involves working with high voltage, at heights, and using monitoring systems while upholding safety standards. The ideal candidate has an electrical or mechanical background, basic MS Office skills, strong English, and a valid B license.

Qualifications

• Experience or qualification in electricity or mechanics.
• Hydraulics experience is a plus but not required.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office.
• Very good knowledge of English; Dutch is an advantage.
• Driver's license class B.
• Curiosity to learn about wind turbines.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and field service tasks.
• Be responsible for electrical and mechanical operations.
• Cover installation activities and use of condition monitoring/remot e control systems.
• Work with high voltage and at heights.
• Adhere to safety and environmental standards while meeting service targets.
• Carry out periodic service inspections and troubleshoot systems.
