Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Service Technician to join the North Holland field operations team. You will perform daily maintenance, handle electrical and mechanical tasks, and support installation activities using condition monitoring and remote control systems.

The role involves working at heights, high voltage, and adhering to strict safety standards. We welcome candidates with electrical or mechanical background, experience in hydraulics (a plus), basic MS Office skills, and strong English language

Qualifications

Experience or qualification in electricity or mechanics.
Hydraulics experience, however, it is not a prerequisite.
Basic knowledge of MS Office.
Very good knowledge of English, Dutch will be an added advantage.
Driver's license class B.
Natural curiosity to develop a detailed knowledge of our wind turbines.

Responsibilities

Perform daily maintenance and other field service-related tasks.
Be responsible for electrical and mechanical operations.
Cover installation activities, such as usage of our systems like condition monitoring / remote control, create follow up orders, etc.
Work with high voltage and at heights.
Work to the highest safety and environmental standards whilst ensuring that service targets are met.
Carry out periodic service inspections following Vestas specifications, such as identifying component replacement (electrical, mechanical and hydraulic) and troubleshooting the systems.
