Job summary

Vestas Offshore Service is seeking a Service Technician Offshore (f/m/d) in IJmuiden, NL to join the field operations team. You will perform daily maintenance, electrical and mechanical tasks, and high voltage work at windfarms in the North Sea, adhering to safety and environmental standards.

You should have a degree in electricity or mechanics, hydraulic experience, Dutch and English language skills, and a valid B-class driving license; relocation support may be considered.

Qualifications

• Experience and degree in electricity or mechanics.
• Hydraulic experience.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office.
• Very good knowledge of Dutch and English.
• Driver's license class B.
• Comfortable with working at heights and at sea.
• Safety awareness.
• Open and friendly attitude in a team setting.
• Good organizational skills and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a detailed knowledge of our wind turbines.
• Enable you to perform daily maintenance and other field related tasks.
• Responsible for electrical and mechanical operations.
• Covering installation activities, usage of our systems like Condition Monitoring / Remote Control, creating follow up orders.
• You will work with high voltage.
• Work to the highest safety and environmental standards whilst ensuring that targets are met, you will be part of a team of Technicians (f/m/d) working throughout the region.
• Carry out periodic inspections in accordance with Vestas specifications together with component replacement and troubleshooting.
