Job summary

CGN Europe Energy is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the Dutch wind portfolio's day-to-day operations and technical management from our Amsterdam office.

You will monitor production, coordinate maintenance with contractors, manage O&M contracts, and report on performance while engaging with local authorities and stakeholders.

The role requires a Master’s degree or related field and at least two years in wind/solar operations; a valid driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or related field in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Operations, Maintenance or a related area.
• At least two years of experience in renewable energy operations, operational coordination, or contractor coordination.
• Valid driving licence.
• Experience with wind/solar production assets is preferred.
• Strong coordination and communication skills in an international setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, reliable operation of the wind farms.
• Monitor production, alarms, availability and coordinate corrective actions.
• Plan and follow up maintenance with contractors and service providers.
• Lead regular operational meetings with contractors and service providers.
• Manage O&M and service contracts; monitor performance and obligations.
• Handle leases, insurance matters and other asset-related agreements.
• Monitor operational costs and support budget control.
