At FitForMe, we believe people living with obesity deserve dignity and the right support at every step of their journey. We develop science-based supplements and long-term support for people managing their weight-loss journey, whether through medication (GLP-1) or bariatric surgery (gastric sleeve or bypass). More than 150,000 customers in over 15 countries rely on us.
Most of our customers first hear about us from their healthcare professional. Our website is where that recommendation becomes a first order, a fuller basket and a subscription that lasts. We’re looking for someone to own that journey and make it better every week.
Why this role matters
When the purchase journey works well, people get the right products quickly and easily, and they stay with us. You’ll be responsible for the whole journey, from landing page to confirmed order. You’ll focus on three things: conversion, average order value and attachment rate. You decide what to improve, you make sure it gets built, and you show it worked.
What makes this role exciting
- End-to-end ownership. The purchase journey is yours, with real influence on the business.
- Variety. Content, CRO, website flows and backlog ownership all come together in one role.
- A strong team around you. You won’t do this alone. You’ll work closely with engineering, performance marketing and content design. You’ll set the direction and roll up your sleeves with the team.
- A fast-moving niche. The market is changing quickly, not least because of GLP-1 medication. Your work keeps us ahead.
What you’ll achieve
In your first month
- You know the funnel inside out: where people drop off, what they add to their basket, and why.
- You’ve shipped your first improvements, small ones that land quickly.
Within three months
- You build flows and pages in the CMS yourself, without waiting on anyone.
- You have a roadmap for the purchase journey, built on data and agreed with the team.
- A steady testing rhythm is running: a hypothesis, an A/B test and a clear result, again and again.
- Engineering works from a backlog you’ve refined, in sprints with a clear goal.
Within six months
- Conversion, AOV and attachment rate are measurably higher, and you can show which changes made the difference.
- Performance marketing, engineering and content design work together on one journey.
Your day-to-day
- You analyse funnel and website data and turn what you find into concrete improvements.
- You run conversion optimisation end to end: hypotheses, A/B tests and reporting.
- You work out how to help customers find the right combination of products: bundles, cross-sells and the subscription offer.
- You refine and prioritise work with the development team, and ship improvements iteratively (Agile/Scrum).
- You build flows, landing pages and content in the CMS, from SEO tweaks to mock-ups for a new feature.
- You use AI to work faster and smarter.
What you bring
- About 2 years’ experience improving a website in e-commerce, ideally at a fast-moving pure player. You might have done it as a product owner, CRO specialist, e-commerce specialist, online merchandiser or website manager.
- Experience working iteratively with a development team.
- Confidence in analytics and in a CMS.
- A hands-on, pragmatic attitude. You’d rather ship and learn than polish a plan.
- Opinions you’re willing to share, and an openness to being challenged in return.
- Excellent English.
- An HBO-level education, or a track record that speaks for itself.
Bonus points
- Experience with subscription models.
- Dutch.
What you get
- A freelance assignment of at least 32 hours (4 days) a week.
- A day rate of €600–€800, depending on experience.
- Full ownership of a journey that directly drives the business.
- A small, ambitious team where decisions are quick and your work is visible.
- An international setting, based at our Rotterdam HQ.
And just as important
Your work helps people at a vulnerable moment in their lives. Every step you remove from the journey makes it easier for someone to get the support they need.
