Job summary

GLS Utrecht is op zoek naar een logistieke medewerker om dagelijks bij te dragen aan tijdige pakketbezorging. Je werkt samen met een hecht team en bent verantwoordelijk voor laden, sorteren en leveren volgens de postcodes en routes.

De functie vereist fysieke geschiktheid en flexibiliteit in werktijden, met mogelijkheden voor parttime of fulltime dienstverband. Reizen naar de locatie is noodzakelijk en er geldt een duidelijke veiligheidsinstructie.

Qualifications

• Fysiek fit om dozen tot 25 kg te tillen en te verplaatsen.
• Flexibele beschikbaarheid voor diensten doordeweeks en in het weekend.
• Vloeiend in Nederlands of Engels voor duidelijke communicatie.
• In staat zelfstandig naar GLS Utrecht te reizen.
• Comfortabel werken met sorteersystemen en pallettrucks.

Responsibilities

• Start je dienst: inchecken, korte briefing volgen en taak toewijzen.
• Laden en lossen: dozen handmatig en met hulpmiddelen tillen.
• Sorteren op postcode en route voor efficiënte verwerking en levering.
• Veiligheid handhaven: veiligheidsrichtlijnen volgen en werkplek schoon houden.
• Samenwerken met het team om dagelijkse doelen te halen en soepele operatie te garanderen.

What You Will Do

• Start your shift: clock in, attend a short briefing, and receive your task assignment for the day or night.
• Load and unload: handle packages manually and with tools like electric pallet trucks and roll containers.
• Sort packages: organize them by postcode and route to ensure efficient processing and delivery.
• Maintain safety: follow safety guidelines and keep your workspace clean and organized at all times.
• Collaborate: work closely with your team to meet daily targets and ensure smooth operations.
