Job summary

GLS Zwolle zoekt een magazijnmedewerker om de efficiënte stroom van pakketten te waarborgen. Je sorteert, laadt en levertijden nauwkeurig af, in een dynamisch team en onder veilige werkomstandigheden.

De functie is parttime, met minimaal 16 uur per week, en biedt een tijdelijk contract met zicht op vast dienstverband. Start People begeleidt en zorgt voor gelijke arbeidsvoorwaarden.

Qualifications

• VMBO-niveau of vergelijkbaar diploma.
• Goede beheersing van Nederlands en/of Engels.
• Fysiek in staat tot actief en dynamisch werk.
• Bereidheid tot ochtend- en avonddiensten (02:00–08:00 en 16:45–23:00).

Responsibilities

• Lossen van pakketten uit vrachtwagens/containers.
• Sorteren op bestemming voor juiste levering.
• Laden van pakketten in vrachtwagens.
• Onderhouden van een schone en georganiseerde werkruimte.

As a warehouse worker at GLS in Zwolle, you will contribute to the efficient flow of packages through our logistics process. Your role is essential in ensuring that shipments are sorted, loaded, and delivered on time, helping customers receive their orders as expected. Working in a dynamic and supportive team, you'll tackle physical tasks with precision and a proactive attitude, all while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

What You Will Do

• Unload: packages from trucks and containers to prepare them for sorting.
• Organize: packages based on their destination to ensure accurate delivery.
• Stack and load: packages into trucks for efficient transportation.
• Perform: physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and moving items throughout your shift.
• Maintain: a clean and organized workspace by assisting with tidying and basic cleaning tasks.
