GLS in Wijchen zoekt een Warehouse Worker om dagelijks te zorgen dat duizenden pakketten op de juiste bestemming komen. Je werkt in avonden en nachtdiensten en bent verantwoordelijk voor lossen, sorteren en laden, met aandacht voor veiligheid en kwaliteit.

Beschikbaarheid in avond/nacht, teamwork, fysieke belastbaarheid en eigen vervoer zijn vereist; ervaring is een plus maar geen eis. GLS biedt doorgroeimogelijkheden en een marktconform salaris.

Qualifications

• Spreek basis Engels.
• Beschikbaar voor avond- en nachtdiensten.
• Fysiek fit en handig met handmatig werk.
• Heb eigen vervoer om Wijchen te bereiken.
• Teamplayer en punctueel.

Responsibilities

• Lossen van trailers vanuit distributiecentra in Europa.
• Sorteren van poststukken op route/doel.
• Beladen van vrachtwagens op een veilige manier.
• Controleren op schade of afwijkingen.
• Schoon en georganiseerd houden van de werkplek.
• Samenwerken met collega's om de operatie soepel te laten verlopen.

Wat je gaat doen

As a Warehouse Worker, you'll play an important role in making sure thousands of parcels reach the right destination every day.

• Unloading trailers arriving from distribution centres across Europe.
• Sorting parcels accurately by route and destination.
• Loading trucks safely and efficiently for outgoing deliveries.
• Checking parcels for damage or irregularities.
• Keeping your work area clean, organised, and safe.
• Working closely with colleagues to keep operations running smoothlyThis role is perfect if you prefer hands‑on work and enjoy being physically active rather than sitting behind a desk.

You will work in evening and night shifts:

• 17:00 - 02:00
• 23:00 - 08:00

• Speak basic English.
• Are available for evening and night shifts.
• Are physically fit and comfortable with manual work.
• Have your own transportation to travel to Wijchen.
• Enjoy working as part of a team.
• Have a proactive and reliable attitude.
• Experience as a Warehouse Worker, Logistics Employee, Warehouse Operative, or Order Picker is a plus, but not required.
