Job summary

GLS in Wijchen zoekt medewerkers voor de logistiek/dagelijks werk in het magazijn. Je werkt in de avond- en nachtploeg en draagt bij aan een snelle, accurate verwerking van pakketten over heel Europa. Je voert fysiek werk uit en werkt in teamverband aan operationele continuïteit.

Het werk vereist basis Engels, een proactieve houding en fysieke geschiktheid. Werktijden zijn avond- en nachtshifts, met doorgroeimogelijkheden binnen GLS.

Responsibilities

• Ontladen: vrachtwagens aankomend bij distributiecentra in Europa.
• Sorteren: pakketten nauwkeurig op route en bestemming.
• Beladen: vrachtwagens veilig en efficiënt vullen voor verzending.
• Inspecteren: pakketten op beschadigingen en afwijkingen controleren.
• Onderhouden: werkruimte schoon, georganiseerd en veilig houden.

Wat je gaat doen

As a warehouse worker at GLS in Wijchen, you will contribute to ensuring that parcels are processed efficiently and accurately, helping thousands of packages reach their destinations every day. This role is ideal if you enjoy hands‑on work, staying active, and being part of a collaborative team. With evening and night shifts, you'll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly during critical hours. Basic English skills, a proactive attitude, and physical fitness will help you succeed in this dynamic environment.

What You Will Do

• Unload: trailers arriving from distribution centers across Europe.
• Sort: parcels accurately based on route and destination.
• Load: trucks safely and efficiently for outgoing deliveries.
• Inspect: parcels for damage or irregularities to ensure quality standards.
• Maintain: a clean, organized, and safe work area while supporting team operations.

You will work in evening and night shifts

• 17:00 - 02:00
• 23:00 - 08:00

• Hourly salary possible up to €22,49 including shiftallowance
