GLS is gevestigd in Wijchen en zoekt een proactieve warehouse medewerker die helpt bij het efficiënt en nauwkeurig verwerken van pakketten. Je werkt in avond- en nachtshiften en draagt bij aan een vlotte verzending door het hele Europese netwerk.

De functie vereist basis Engels, lichamelijke fitheid en beschikbaarheid voor avond- en nachtwerk. Een tijdelijke aanstelling met kans op vast contract, fulltime 40 uur per week, en doorgroeimogelijkheden bij GLS.

Qualifications

• Spreekt basis Engels.
• Beschikbaar voor avond- en nachtploeg.
• Fysiek fit en in staat tot handmatig werk.
• Hebt eigen vervoer naar Wijchen.
• Ervaring in logistiek of magazijnen is een plus.

Responsibilities

• Lossen: trailers vanuit Europese distributiecentra.
• Sorteren: pakketten op route en bestemming.
• Laden: vrachtwagens veilig en efficiënt.
• Controleren: pakketten op beschadigingen en afwijkingen.

Wat je gaat doen

As a warehouse worker at GLS in Wijchen, you will contribute to ensuring that parcels are processed efficiently and accurately, helping thousands of packages reach their destinations every day. This role is ideal if you enjoy hands-on work, staying active, and being part of a collaborative team. With evening and night shifts, you'll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly during critical hours. Basic English skills, a proactive attitude, and physical fitness will help you succeed in this dynamic environment.

What You Will Do:

• Unload: trailers arriving from distribution centers across Europe.
• Sort: parcels accurately based on route and destination.
• Load: trucks safely and efficiently for outgoing deliveries.
• Inspect: parcels for damage or irregularities to ensure quality standards.
• Maintain: a clean, organized, and safe work area while supporting team operations.

You will work in evening and night shifts:

• 17:00 - 02:00
• 23:00 - 08:00
