Job summary

DSV Contract Logistics B.V. zoekt een Warehouse Operator in Moerdijk om dagelijks te zorgen voor een soepele warehouse-operatie. Je pikt orders met een handscanner, pakt en labelt producten en verzorgt verzendingen in een teamgerichte omgeving.

Het team werkt in twee ploegen en biedt mogelijkheden voor certificaten zoals reach truck en doorgroeien naar Team Leader, met een vast 40-urige werkweek en reiskostenvergoeding.

Qualifications

• Minimaal 18 jaar oud met VMBO-niveau werk- en denkniveau.
• Goede beheersing van het Engels.
• Bereid om in twee ploegen te werken (06:00-15:00 / 15:00-00:00).
• Woonachtig binnen bereik van Moerdijk en eigen vervoer.

Responsibilities

• Orderpicking met handscanner.
• Inpakken en labelen van producten.
• Transporteren van pallets met een EPT.
• Pallets in folie verpakken.
• Orders controleren op juistheid.
• Zendingen voorbereiden en verzendingen coördineren.
• Zorgdragen voor een schone en veilige werkomgeving.
• Ondersteunen van andere afdelingen waar mogelijk.

Wat ga je doen?

You start each workday with a friendly chat with your colleagues, making sure everyone is focused and ready to get to work. As a Warehouse Operator, you and your team are responsible for ensuring the warehouse operates efficiently. As a Warehouse Operator, you ensure the warehouse runs smoothly by picking orders with a handheld scanner, packing and labelling products, transporting pallets with an Electric Pallet Truck (EPT), wrapping pallets, checking orders for accuracy, preparing shipments, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. You are also happy to support other departments whenever needed, because teamwork is at the heart of DSV.

Wie ben je?

This is what we ask from you:

• You are at least 18 years old and have a VMBO level of education or equivalent working and thinking level;
• You have a good command of the English language;
• You are willing to work in two shifts (06.00-15.00 / 15.00-00.00);
• You are not allowed to wear metal jewelry, piercings, shoes, belts, phones, or smartwatches;
• You live within commuting distance of Moerdijk and have your own transportation;

Wat mag je verwachten?

This is what we offer you:

• A starting salary between €15,55 and €16,03 (excluding shift allowances) per hour, travel allowance of €0.25 per kilometre, plus 8% holiday allowance;
• 20% extra for hours worked between 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM (Monday–Friday);
• 50% extra for hours worked between 10:00 PM and 12:00 AM (Monday–Thursday);
• 75% extra for hours worked between 10:00 PM and 12:00 AM on Fridays and all hours on Saturdays (12:00 AM–6:00 AM);
• 100% extra for work on Sundays, public holidays, and Monday between 12:00 AM and 6:00 AM;
• Travel allowance of €0.25 per kilometre, up to €15 per day;
• A full-time position (40 hours per week) with a fixed work schedule;
