Job summary

DSV Moerdijk is hiring a Logistics Employee, Orderpicker or Logistics Operator for 32–40 hours per week with a gross hourly wage of €15.55–€15.87, excluding shift allowances. You will check and pack outbound orders, process inbound goods, and use the WMS system and an electric pallet truck to keep the warehouse running smoothly.

The role offers day shifts or a two‑shift system, a modern warehouse environment, and the possibility of a permanent contract.

Job description

As a Fulltime of Parttime ( 32 hours per week) Logistics Employee, Orderpicker or Logistics Operator at DSV in Moerdijk, you will start with a gross hourly wage between €15.55 and €15.87, depending on your experience and excluding shift allowances (shift allowances are between 20% and100%). The location is in Moerdijk, in the region of Breda, Etten-Leur and Roosendaal.

Together with your team, you will make sure that everything in the new and modern warehouse runs smoothly. Your tasks are varied: from checking and packing outbound orders and processing incoming goods to carrying out inventory checks. You will use the WMS (Warehouse management System) system for this and operate an electric pallet truck (EPT). You will also identify discrepancies in inventory and help maintain a safe and tidy workplace.

As a Fulltime or Parttime Logistics Employee, you will work between 32 hours and 40 hours per week.

Working hours:

• day shift: from 08:00 till 17:00
• Late shift: from 15.00 till 00.00
• 2 shifts system: from 06:00 till 15:00 and from 15:00 till 00:00.

No working day is the same, but as a Logistics Employee, Orderpicker or Logistics Employee, you always know how to keep an overview. You are an important link in the logistics process and help make sure everything runs smoothly. Your work is both physical and administrative. At the Moerdijk location, in the region of Breda, Dordrecht, Rotterdam, and Roosendaal, you will have plenty of opportunities to develop yourself.

Your responsibilities include:

Who are you?

• You are a hands-on person who enjoys physical work;
• You like working accurately and have an eye for details;
• You speak Dutch or English;
• You are able to travel independently to Moerdijk (your own transportation is required);
• Previous experience in logistics is preferred;
• You are able to operate an EPT, and experience with a reach truck is a plus;
• You are administratively skilled and accurate;
• You enjoy working as part of a team;
• You are flexible and have a solution-oriented mindset.

  • 20% extra for hours worked between 19:00 and 22:00 (Monday to Friday);
  • 50% extra for hours worked between 22:00 and 00:00 (Monday to Thursday);
  • 75% extra for hours worked between 22:00 and 00:0 on Fridays and for all hours worked on Saturdays (00:00 to 06:00);
  • 100% extra for work on Sundays, public holidays, and Mondays between 00:00 and 06:00;
