Job summary

Maran Ship Supplies Pte Ltd., part of the Angelicoussis Group, seeks a motivated Warehouse Storekeeper to support daily warehouse operations, handling maritime stores and provisions. You will assist with receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods, while ensuring food safety and timely vessel supply.

Key tasks include labeling, stock rotation, order staging, and safe handling of cold chain items.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on warehouse or logistics experience.
• Experience in food provisions handling or maritime logistics is advantageous.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and cold chain management preferred.
• Good written and spoken English communication.
• Physically fit to work in a hands-on warehouse.
• Team player with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
• Forklift license or willingness to be trained is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, unloading, and checking deliveries of maritime stores and provisions.
• Store goods with proper labeling, stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO), and hygiene compliance.
• Prepare, pack, and stage orders for dispatch to vessels per schedule.
• Support loading/unloading activities safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness and safety across warehouse and cold storage.
• Perform stock checks and assist inventory control; report shortages.
• Handle temperature-sensitive goods (frozen and chilled) per food safety rules.
• Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) when trained.
• Collaborate with Warehouse Supervisor and other departments.
• Comply with company policies, H&S standards, and port regulations.

About the role

The role involves assisting with receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and contributing to the timely and accurate supply of vessels.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, unloading, and checking incoming deliveries of maritime stores and provisions.

• Store goods systematically, ensuring proper labelling, stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO), and compliance with food hygiene standards.

• Prepare, pack, and stage orders for dispatch to vessels in line with operational schedules.

• Support loading and unloading activities in a safe and efficient manner.

• Help maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety across warehouse, cold storage, and loading bay areas.

• Perform stock checks and assist in inventory control by reporting shortages or discrepancies.

• Handle temperature-sensitive goods (frozen and chilled items) with care, following food safety requirements.

• Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.) when trained and authorized.

• Collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor and other departments to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

• Comply with company policies, health & safety standards, and port regulations at all times.

Candidate must have

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations.

• Experience in food provisions handling or maritime logistics is an advantage.

• Knowledge of food safety standards, and cold chain management preferred.

• Good communication skills in written and spoken English.

• Physically fit and able to work in a hands-on warehouse environment.

• Team player with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.

• Forklift license or willingness to be trained will be considered an advantage.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities in a fast-paced supply environment.
