Job summary

Parkside Recruitment is recruiting a Warehouse Operative for a fast-paced logistics operation. You will join a busy warehouse team handling picking, packing, despatch and stock control, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Working closely with the Warehouse Manager, you’ll ensure goods are received, stored and shipped efficiently. Around 2+ years of warehouse experience is preferred; an FLT licence is desirable and NVQ Level 2 in Warehouse and Distribution would be beneficial.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' warehouse experience, ideally within a components or parts environment.
• Good Goods In, picking and packing experience.
• Experience using warehouse administration and computer systems.
• Good understanding of stock control, logistics and transportation.
• Good numeracy and literacy; general computer skills.
• Understanding of manual handling and warehouse health and safety.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy environment and manage changing priorities.
• Proactive, reliable and team-focused approach.
• FLT licence desirable; NVQ Level 2 in Warehouse and Distribution beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Rotating and controlling stock while maintaining product traceability

We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a global market leader specialising in innovative vehicle safety technology for commercial vehicles and mobile machinery.

This is a varied, hands in, picking and packing, despatch, stock control and logistics, making it a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a fast-paced and collaborative warehouse team.

The Role

Working closely with the Warehouse Manager and wider team, you will help ensure products are received, stored and despatched accurately and efficiently.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone with previous experience working within a warehouse, distribution or logistics environment, ideally involving components or parts.

You will ideally have:

• Around 2+ years' warehouse experience, ideally within a components or parts environment
