About JAS

JAS is an international logistics company with a global network. From our location in Aalsmeer, we provide tailored solutions in warehousing and contract logistics. For our operation, we are looking for a driven Warehouse Manager who takes ownership and continuously strives for improvement.

What will you do?

As a Warehouse Manager, you are responsible for the daily management of the warehouse operation. You will lead a team of 10–20 employees and ensure that all processes run efficiently, safely, and according to plan.

No day is the same – your responsibilities include:

• Leading, coaching, and developing the warehouse team
• Coordinating inbound and outbound processes
• Managing and optimizing inventory (pick & pack)
• Ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with procedures (QHSE)
• Identifying and resolving shipment discrepancies
• Ensuring proper maintenance of equipment and facilities
• Planning and organizing daily operations
• Collaborating with internal departments and customers
• Initiating and implementing process improvements

In short: you ensure that the warehouse operation runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a hands-on and decisive manager who maintains oversight and knows how to motivate a team. You also bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working/thinking level, preferably in logistics
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in warehouse or operations management
• Good command of both Dutch and English
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop people
• Stress-resistant, solution-oriented, and highly organized
• Experience with WMS systems
• Forklift and reach truck certificates (preferred)
• In possession of, or eligible for, a Statement of no Objection (VGB)
