Job summary

Air Products is seeking a Warehouse Foreman for the Rotterdam site. You will coordinate daily warehouse activities, ensuring safe receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping of materials, spare parts and tools, in line with procedures and on-time performance.

You will lead the warehouse team, provide hands-on direction, monitor inventory in SAP, and collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor and multiple internal stakeholders to optimise stock accuracy and service levels.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in warehouse, logistics, materials management or similar operational environment.
• Experience coordinating daily workloads and guiding warehouse colleagues.
• Strong commitment to Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) and safe working practices.
• Good understanding of inventory control, goods receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor daily warehouse activities, prioritising tasks across receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping and housekeeping.
• Act as the first point of contact for the warehouse team, giving practical guidance and escalating issues to the Warehouse Supervisor as needed.
• Manage issue and receipt of spare parts, tools, consumables and safety equipment, maintaining accurate stock and records.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in SAP and other reporting tools, support cycle counts and stock checks.
• Coordinate goods receiving, identification, storage, picking, packing and shipping, including transport documentation.
• Support and coach colleagues on safe working methods, equipment use, housekeeping standards, and local procedures.
• Coordinate inspection, certification, repair or refurbishment of tools and equipment, ensure forklifts and storage areas are maintained.
• Identify opportunities to improve stock accuracy, space utilisation, processes and service levels with the Warehouse Supervisor.
