Job summary

ibis Schiphol Amsterdam Airport is seeking a waiter or waitress to join our buffet restaurant for breakfast service. You will greet guests, take orders, serve dishes and drinks, and offer recommendations about hotel facilities and local sights.

You're expected to communicate in English and Dutch, work quickly under pressure, and stay flexible when busy. This position sits within the Accor family, with benefits and development opportunities.

Job Description

As our newest waiter or waitress you understand that you and your colleagues make a difference in our industry. Hospitality is in your DNA! In this role, you'll be versatile within our hotel, working in our buffet restaurant during breakfast.

The guests will come to you with their orders and questions and of course also for a chat. You will help them by serving tasty dishes, drinks, giving the guests advise about the facilities in the hotel and share your knowledge and recommendations about the city.

Qualifications

Who are you?

You are an enthusiastic, cheerful and service-oriented person who can have a nice chat with anyone. You have a good command of the English and Dutch language and maybe even other languages. You can work at a fast pace and deal well with stress. You are flexible and do not mind staying a little longer when busy to help your colleagues.
