Job summary

ING Nederland is seeking a VP for the TS NL Trade Sales team to lead end-to-end origination and structuring of the full Trade product suite. You will act as Deal Principal, owning structuring and execution for clients and ensuring flawless delivery and commercial impact.

You will collaborate with the Trade Sales NL Account Management team and CoE to drive seamless execution, maximize client satisfaction, and identify growth and cross-sell opportunities across tradе products, including

Qualifications

• Commercial focus with 3–5 years in securitisation, structured finance or wholesale banking sales or risk management.
• Background in trade finance and open account trade, or credit risk and deal structuring/execution.
• Excellent oral and written skills in Dutch and English.
• Degree in economics, management, law, engineering or equivalent field.

Responsibilities

• Be the Deal Principal in structuring and implementing Trade transactions with sales targets and implementation responsibilities.
• Ensure smooth handover to Account Management for ongoing relationship management and post-deal support.
• Analyse client needs, identify opportunities and develop proposals.
• Organise client meetings and pitches across all trade products.
• Lead the transaction structuring process and act as role model for the team.
• Negotiate legal documentation as part of deal execution.
• Keep the business compliant and suggest process improvements.
• Grow the Trade platform and drive cross-sell opportunities.
