Job summary

SkyNRG is seeking a visionary VP Operations & Technology in Amsterdam to lead the operational foundation for SAF facilities. You will build the capabilities, standards, and organization required to start, operate, and continuously improve facilities from day one.

You will drive operational readiness for DSL-01 and future projects, shape teams, and partner with executives, investors, regulators, and contractors to deliver safe, reliable production across a growing asset portfolio.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience in large-scale industrial or process industries.
• Proven track record managing safety, people, production, reliability, and performance.
• Strong background in Operational Readiness, commissioning, startup, and ramp-up of major facilities.
• Experience building high-performing operational and technical teams through growth and change.
• Experience across the full lifecycle of major capital projects.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with executives, investors, regulators, licensors, contractors, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the Operations & Technology function with capabilities, standards, and culture to support SAF assets.
• Lead Operational Readiness and startup activities for DSL-01 and future projects.
• Build and develop teams to support SkyNRG's growing portfolio of production assets.
• Provide operational, technical, and process integration expertise across the production lifecycle.
• Lead R&D and Innovation activities for SAF technologies and external collaborations.
• Establish and manage Distribution and Supply Operations (SAF & Feedstock).
• Drive safety leadership, performance management, and continuous improvement for on-spec production.
• Collaborate with project teams, leadership, investors, regulators, licensors, and contractors.
