Job summary

Ericsson Maastricht-based role focusing on VoLTE/IMS integration, testing and troubleshooting of voice and core network solutions in real customer environments.

You will gain hands-on exposure to VoLTE, IMS, 4G/5G and cloud tech, working with experienced engineers and customers to understand networks and resolve issues. Entry to mid-level engineers welcomed, with growth opportunities as you take ownership of technical delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Telecommunications, CS, or EE, or equivalent practical experience.
• Interest in mobile networks and VoLTE/IMS/4G/5G and IP networking.
• Hands-on exposure through work, internships, university projects, labs or personal projects; telecom integration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist integration, testing and troubleshooting VoLTE, IMS and 4G/5G Core in real customer environments.
• Work hands-on with network technologies and how voice and data travel in mobile networks.
• Investigate issues using logs, traces, alarms, KPIs and test results.
• Support testing of VoLTE calls, IMS registration, SMS over IMS, and emergency calls.
• Configure, upgrade, migrate and expand network solutions while ensuring service continuity.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, project managers and customers to deliver projects.
• Document work and share learnings with the team.
• Build knowledge of cloud-native telecom and 5G Standalone as networks evolve.
