Job summary

Ericsson GmbH is seeking a VoLTE / Control / IMS Integration Engineer to help integrate, test and troubleshoot voice and core network solutions in real customer environments.

You’ll gain hands-on exposure to VoLTE, IMS, 4G/5G and cloud technologies, collaborating with experienced engineers and customers to understand networks and resolve issues. Training is provided for junior engineers and growth opportunities exist for more senior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Interest in mobile networks and technologies such as VoLTE, IMS, 4G/5G, IP networking or cloud.

Responsibilities

• Assist in integrating, testing and troubleshooting VoLTE, IMS and 4G/5G Core network solutions in real customer environments.
• Learn how different systems connect and how voice and data travel through a mobile network.
• Investigate issues using logs, traces, alarms, KPIs and test results to identify root causes.
• Support testing of services like VoLTE calls, IMS registration, SMS over IMS and emergency calling.
• Assist configuring, upgrading, migrating and expanding network solutions while keeping services up.
• Collaborate with engineers, solution architects, project managers and customers to deliver projects.
• Document work and share learnings with the team.
• Grow knowledge of cloud-native telecom and 5G Standalone technologies.
