Job summary

BYD Europe BV in Hoofddorp, Netherlands, seeks a logistics operations professional to manage daily third-party port and vehicle compound activities, coordinate with suppliers and track vessel schedules. The role includes invoice review, cost control and inventory/audit support.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Logistics or Supply Chain, 3+ years in logistics/port operations, Excel proficiency, and travel willingness. SAP knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain.
• 3+ years of experience in logistics, warehousing, port or automotive operations.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel for business when required.
• SAP or other logistics/inventory system experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of third-party ports and vehicle compounds, and coordinate with logistics suppliers on operational issues.
• Track vessel schedules and coordinate with ports to ensure smooth and timely vessel arrivals and discharging operations.
• Follow up vehicle inbound/outbound movements, storage status and operational performance.
• Review operational costs and invoices, and prepare payment requests with required supporting documents.
• Manage inventory checks, regular stocktaking and year-end audit support.
