Job summary

ASML in Veldhoven, Netherlands is seeking an IT Engineer - Customer Support to bring the Virtual Computational Platform (VCP) into customer production environments. You will deploy, validate and support across compute, storage, networking, and virtualization, ensuring readiness for customer environments.

You will coordinate with CS teams, customers and development, acting as the technical lead for deployment activities and driving successful execution of customer programs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical discipline. A Bachelor's degree with relevant experience will also be considered.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure engineering, customer support, system integration, deployment engineering, technical consulting or comparable technical roles.
• Experience working in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience working across multiple stakeholders and organizational boundaries.
• Knowledge of Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux), virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V or similar) and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies, container platforms and modern software deployment concepts is considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with VCP architecture and deployment principles is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Technical Lead for deployment activities and rollout initiatives.
• Coordinate activities across Development, Product Teams, Customer Support and customer stakeholders.
• Support deployment and lifecycle management of ASML's Virtual Computational Platform (VCP).
• Assess customer IT environments and advise on infrastructure readiness.
• Guide customers on compute, storage, networking, virtualization and platform requirements.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, platform and integration issues across diverse customer environments.
• Support containerized and distributed software deployments.
• Serve as a technical expert for VCP architecture, deployment concepts and operational processes.
• Facilitate technical discussions, readiness reviews and decision-making sessions.
• Identify deployment risks, align stakeholders and drive mitigation actions to closure.
